Introducing Aydan

Welcome to week #2 of the epic launch fun for LACRIMOSA. Before we get to this week's fun, I want to announce the winner of the EPIC Nesy prize -
Congrats to ALICIA MARIE!

I have a special something for everyone who entered - just a way to say THANK YOU!!!

For this week, I am focusing on Aydan here and on the tour, culminating with an epic giveaway of some of his fav things. And yes, there are still clues for the two week grand prize giveaway, so be on the look out for clues here and around the tour (10 in all) for that giveaway. You can find out more about the whole tour by clicking the "Blog Tour" tab under the header.

Now, for today, we are jumping right into it. Check out my stop on Danyelle Leafty's blog, where she is collecting Aydan's heart.

For my stop, I thought I'd introduce Aydan much like I did Nesy. Okay, sure, you already met him through the vlogs of chapter one. But there is much more to our demonic Aydan than you may realize:

AYDAN - A Brief Bio: Aydan is a member of Azzaziel's army - an UnHoly. Once an angel of Celestium like Nesy, he was cast out and joined forces with Azza. Now he is one off the most powerful in Azza's realm. He is seductive, ruthless and will stop at nothing to procure anything and everything his master desires.

He spends most of his existance in the form of a human teen; he feels that being a teen gives him access to the ones he likes to feed on most - the souls of unsuspecting teenage girls. He and Azza spend their time hanging out in an underage club with other dark creatures, demons of all shapes and sizes.

Despite his dark existence and the pleasure he gets from sucking the souls of others, he is not fully satisfied with his life - not by a long shot.

DESCRIPTION: As indicated on the back cover of the hardcopy of LACRIMOSA, Aydan is Nesy's opposite - dark hair and amber eyes. His natural form is too hideous to make the cover of any book, but well described in the book. Being an UnHoly, his wings resemble those of a bat. He is subservient to Azza and the Beast that is ever growing inside.

STRENGTHS: His strength includes his ability to seduce, his ruthless nature, and his loyalty to Azza. He may hate his existence at times, but he knows where his obligations fall - and he is willing to abide by the rules he bound himself to. He is a ruthless warrior and ultimately trusts Azza - at least most of the time.

WEAKNESSES: Aydan has but one weakness - the reason behind his fall from Celestium. Love. A love he has vowed to forget. A love he has tucked away, deep inside. A love he will be forced to confront.

Get to know more about Aydan all week.

  1. Oh how I love Aydan!

This one is for you Aydan... What do you love most about being a "teen" other than the unsuspecting girls you feed off of?

    1. Hi Heather - So happy to answer questions for you. I like the emotional rush of being a teen. I've never experienced life as an adult, but it seems like something I wouldn't like. Too many "responsibilities", too many things to stress about. As a teen I just worry about my feelings at the moment, not the long term consequences of anything. And I prefer that. A lot.
      Thanks for asking it, Heather...

  2. Here's one for that guy, Aydan: When you have those twinges of conscience and hate your existence, what one "good" act do you consider doing, or do you?

Wishing you a lot of readers, Christine! I'm sure Aydan will help make that happen.

    1. Thanks for the comment. I like Aydan too! And speaking of Aydan, he wanted to come and answer your question...
Actually I do get those rare (maybe not so rare) moments when I hate my existence. But the only thing I ever think of doing at those times is killing the person (entity) responsible. Before, when I was forced into this existence, I thought alot about Elle. In fact, if you read my post over at Danyelle's blog you can see just how much. Thanks for asking!

Collide and Transcend in Audio Format

Wow - it has too long since my last post! A lot has happened over the past few months. First, I've decided to re-launch my entire backlist. What does this mean? New covers, new interiors, and, in some cases, new and expanded stories. It also means releasing the books in audiobook format. Audiobooks are something I've wanted to do for a while. And now it is finally happening.

In December, I released the audiobook formats of Transcend and Collide - each with new covers and new interiors in the digital and print versions. I plan on revealing the new covers for the rest of the Solomon Experiment series (the sequels to Collide) later this month, with the actual books coming in late Feb and March/April.

In Spring, I will begin the re-launch of the Requiem series, including significantly expanded stories for books 2 and 3, new covers, new titles and audiobook formats.

I don't plan on only re-releasing books in 2016. In addition to the two new books in the Solomon Experiments, I ha…

It's Release Day!

Wow! This post was a long time coming. My 6th novel (and 17th book), OUTBREAK, book #2 in the Solomon Experiments, is officially out day.

This is a special release for me. I had struggled to find my fiction mojo after my last book. Related to what was going on in my personal life and some residual feelings about my mother's death, it took me nearly 2 years to reconnect with my inner artist. The struggle was worth it, though, as I figured out some things about myself as an artist that I needed.

Now, I hope all of you will enjoy the book as much as I've enjoyed writing it.

OUTBREAK is the continuing story of Dakota, an 18 year old girl wrestling with her new awareness of abilities that make her the target of a black ops group. Here is a little more about the story:

Dakota never thought she’d crave her old life in Boresville. Not until the Creator’s assassins came and took everything, everyone, she cared about—all except for David. He’s the only thing she has left, and he wants he…
