Another EPIC Announcement

I am trembling with excitement about today's announcement. Now, I know that we have been all about LACRIMOSA for the last few weeks (and don't forget about the epic Compass Press BIGGEST FAN contest going on RIGHT NOW), but this announcement is about something else all together...

But first, I need to announce the winner for the LACRIMOSA GIVEAWAY -

MOLLY FRENZEL!!!

Congrats!

And now, I am pleased to announce the sale of a new book, a special book that I am so excited about, to Compass Press - TRANSCEND, a YA Psychological Thriller unlike anything currently on the shelves.
Check out the PM announcement:
Children's:Young Adult
Christine Fonseca's TRANSCEND, pitched as Hamlet meets the Black Swan in this Phantom of the Opera thriller, in which a horrible accident leaves a young man abandoned and left for dead, his only link to sanity the love of his fiancee and the support of his best friend-an illusion that might just rip away the last shreds of his humanity and reveal parts of himself he'll wish remained buried, to Compass Press, in a nice deal, for publication in March 2013 (US).
This is by far the hardest thing I have ever written and I am BEYOND excited. I've talked with Compass Press about the thoughts for the cover, edits, etc, and trust me when I say that EPIC does not begin. In fact, I have serious chills just writing this post.

Here's a little blurb about the story (from Goodreads):
All seventeen-year-old composer Ien Montgomery desires is to find his muse – someone to ease the burdens of his family’s rigid expectations and the recent death of his older brother. When he meets a beautiful violin-prodigy, Kiera McDougal, his music takes on new life. With her, he imagines a future outside of his parents’ control. That is, until a horrible accident tears them apart.
Sent to die in a sanatorium, Ien’s obsession for Kiera grows unbearable. Tortured by thoughts he can’t escape and the truth of his monstrous disfigurement, he flees, desperate to exact revenge on the people that ruined his life – his parents. But, vengeance is empty. Betrayed by those closest to him, Ien discovers that the price for his happiness may be his sanity.
Now, to celebrate the news of the sale, I thought I'd give away a DVD of the movie version of the story that inspired TRANSCEND, Phantom of the Opera, as well as a $10 Amazon Gift Certificate. Just fill out this rafflecopter form to win. WOO HOO!!!

a Rafflecopter giveaway Oh yeah - I am excited.

And since at the risk of making you all VERY SICK of the excitement around here, check out the International giveaway for LACRIMOSA on Goodreads, and on I Am A Reader, Not A Writer, plus the ongoing FAN Giveaway, and the book blogger tour stops for today. Oh! And I am hanging out with Eisley Jacobs (who will be here on the blog later this week) too. Check it out.

See, too much good for one week, yes???

Collide and Transcend in Audio Format

Wow - it has too long since my last post! A lot has happened over the past few months. First, I've decided to re-launch my entire backlist. What does this mean? New covers, new interiors, and, in some cases, new and expanded stories. It also means releasing the books in audiobook format. Audiobooks are something I've wanted to do for a while. And now it is finally happening.

In December, I released the audiobook formats of Transcend and Collide - each with new covers and new interiors in the digital and print versions. I plan on revealing the new covers for the rest of the Solomon Experiment series (the sequels to Collide) later this month, with the actual books coming in late Feb and March/April.

In Spring, I will begin the re-launch of the Requiem series, including significantly expanded stories for books 2 and 3, new covers, new titles and audiobook formats.

I don't plan on only re-releasing books in 2016. In addition to the two new books in the Solomon Experiments, I ha…

It's Release Day!

Wow! This post was a long time coming. My 6th novel (and 17th book), OUTBREAK, book #2 in the Solomon Experiments, is officially out day.

This is a special release for me. I had struggled to find my fiction mojo after my last book. Related to what was going on in my personal life and some residual feelings about my mother's death, it took me nearly 2 years to reconnect with my inner artist. The struggle was worth it, though, as I figured out some things about myself as an artist that I needed.

Now, I hope all of you will enjoy the book as much as I've enjoyed writing it.

OUTBREAK is the continuing story of Dakota, an 18 year old girl wrestling with her new awareness of abilities that make her the target of a black ops group. Here is a little more about the story:

Dakota never thought she’d crave her old life in Boresville. Not until the Creator’s assassins came and took everything, everyone, she cared about—all except for David. He’s the only thing she has left, and he wants he…
